Pros:
The Beer!!!
Cons:
The crazzy people who never stop yelling
The Pump House brews Moncton's favourite beer and they serve it with some great food.
Some friends and I visited one evening mainly for the beer but we had to order some food as well.
Before I get going, I will first say the service was great. They were fast and pleasant.
I ordered the sweet chilli wings. My usual order of wings are the honey barbeque wings. After trying these tasty treats I think they are me new favourite. The sweet chilli sauce is full of flavour with a bit of zip. The wings are not at all hot. The only thing I can think to compare them to are the sweet chilli heat Doritos without the heat!
The beer that I tried this time was the Cadian Ale. That too was great. Give it a try in place of what seems to be everyone's favourite, the Blueberry Ale.
The unfortunate thing about this evening was that the place was VERY LOUD!! The whole place was damn near empty but there was a group of people singing at the top of their lungs in the back. I was disappointed that this went on the entire evening. I am sure that earlier on people left because of that group of people.
Perhaps my opinion is wrong but I think the staff should have told the group to bring it down a bit or find some place else to go.
My ranking on this visit must be influenced by the obnoxious crew in the back. The Pump House gets a 4/5.
