I was hungry on a Saturday night and my chicken was thawed out for supper so I used that as an excuse to go out for some Chinese food. I conveniently forgot that I own a microwave!
So, I found my way into the Lily Buffet. The sign boasts that they have over 100 items.... well, I did not see 100 items. Perhaps they are counting individual ingredients?.Anyways, this place is actually nicely decorated when you come in. You definitely know your in for some Chinese food. That fish tank at the entrance needs to be cleaned once in awhile though. Its kind of gross.In spite of the fact that I ordered the buffet, I found the service to be exceptional. Typically at a buffet you are on your own. But the waitress here continually checked in on me t see it I needed anything at all. Moving on to the food, all I can say is that this place is the definition of mediocrity. Everything in the buffet was just average. Nothing was bad but nothing was outstanding either.Overall I can only give the Lily Buffet 2.5/5. I am surprised that the get as much business as they do considering they across the street from another Chinese restaurant.S.R.
