I have returned to McDonalds on Mountain Rd. for a second visit. This time it was March break so the huge noon hour flux of teens was not there. Surprisingly though, they were still very busy. Even more surprisingly I was served and had my food in about 4 minutes. As always the fries where hot and crisp and my wannabe whopper was great. For this visit I am boosting the rating to 3/5. The service was still slow considering the number of people in line… almost none!=====================================
This McDonalds is located on Mountain Rd.'s fast food strip. With lots of competition for customers you woudl expect outstanding service and steallr food. Well, you woud be WRONG!!
I arrived at 12:20 and there was 20-30 people in line... if you can call it a line. The part that blows my mind is that there was only a hand full of people seated and eating. I knew right away that this was gonna be a long wait. Well, being the impatient jerk that I like to be I manage to cut line and sneak to front whille a group of high school girls were chatting up a storm. HAHA suckers. Regardless It took 5-6 minutes for me to oreder and get my food. In my book, that not brutally terrible but its far from good. To top it off, I CUT LINE!!! If I stood there and waited I would have been another 10 - 15 minutes easily because when I was done eating and rolling out the door those girls had still not placed thier orders!
To sum up the service, DREADFULL
As for the food I ordered the Mcdonalds Whopper.... yeah thats right I said it. The Mcdonalds whopper. Its actually a fantastic burger. I order it exclusivly at McDonalds. My only beef is that when they first introduced it they called it the BIG XTRA, and BIG it was. Now its a piddly little crumb called the Mc. Xtra. So, the reality is.... this burger is a Jr. Whopper!! Anyways, the burger was great, the fries where piping hot, salted just right and over all I enjoyed the food.
True to my belief that in teh fast food industry SERVICE IS KING, I can only give these guys a 2/5. thats 2 for the food and 0 for the service.
