Pros:
The food and value stand out.
Cons:
The menu is small and nearly identical to Vien Dong. You will get board after visiting a few times.
This restaurant is located on Orange Ln. next to The Pump House. We visited Siagon Thia at noon hour to see if it was going to live up to its reputation.
On entering you will notice a nicely decorated restaurant that is up kept very well. Its very clean, warm and welcoming. We were seated very quickly and the ordered from the lunch menu. I forget exactly what I ordered. The meals returned very quickly. After we were done our meal it seemed to take a long time to get our check and be on our way but the restaurant was filling up fast and the waitresses where very busy.
The food here was great, just as good and say… Vien Dong. That’s because it’s almost the same menu. A few things are changed slightly but that’s all. Even the presentation of the meal on the plate is a repeat of Vien Dong. The fact that this place lacked originality does take away from the over all experience. If this place does something to make them selves stand out and possibly above Vien Dong they will surly capture the attention of Monctonians.
I have ranked Siagon Thia very well, but I am disappointed with the lack of originality.
