Pros: None....
Cons: Food and service

Well, let me start by saying that this was the first time I have ever sent a meal back to the kitchen. I am usually very tolerable but this was just dreadful.

On to the review…

So, it was a weekend and the power failed at home and we had not yet eaten supper. So, we decided it was a good night to have a meal out and then go to a movie. So, we left home around 5:45 and got to Montana’s around 6:00. My wife was not too hungry, she just ordered a bowl of soup. I ordered a burger and fries… quick and easy so that we would catch our movie. Oh, we ordered around 6:10.

Around 7:00 our food arrived at the table. Considering what we ordered and that the restaurant was half empty this was an exceptionally long time. So, I was already a bit annoyed. Then I sampled the fries… have you ever eaten a day old fry? They are characteristically waxy and stale with no crispness at all. It like eating rubber. Well, my entire plate of fries was like that. I though to myself, it ok, I will just drown them in ketchup. Then I took a bit out of the burger. I immediately noticed the bun was crunchy and though “when did they start toasting the buns”. Then I quickly realized the bun was not toasted, it was stale. I told my wife how stale it was and then I knocked on the bun and she could hear the knocking across the table. They could have just slapped the patty between 2 hockey pucks and had the same result. At this point I was very angry. I pushed my plate away and waiting for a server to get near so that I could ask for the manager. When the manager arrived he asked what the trouble was and I explained and told him that I would not be paying and I would be leaving right away. He offered me the opportunity to pick something else off the menu but I refused and told him I was not giving them a second chance because they messed up the entire meal after taking almost an hour so prepare a burger and fries. I told him I was going to go to McDonald’s for a burger so that could get to my movie. That’s exactly what I did. By the way, my wife’s soup ok but just so you know, she paid $6.99 for about 1 cup of soup. That very expensive but then again we did not pay for the soup either.

To sum up: Bad food, Bad service, eat some place else.
