One evening for supper a few friends and I visited Lone Stars. We arrived around 6ish and the place was basically empty. In Moncton an empty restaurant typically means its not going to be good. Indeed that was the case.
I ordered the fish and chips. It came in a basket with fries under the fish. The fries where a bit on the limp side and the fish was bland. This is possibly one of the worst fish and chips in Moncton.
If I were to go back to this place I would order something from the TexMex part of the menu. Hopefully they do something well.

A nice place for some tex mex grub in downtown Moncton. I had the Bubba Brisket burger. It rings in at 8.99 and come with a side of choice. I had fries. Fries were good. Nothin' special but good. The burger wasn't what I thought it was going to be...I pictured thinly sliced brisket but it was chunked and put on a bun. It tasted great. Nice amount of spice and flavour. However, on the plate as a side with the fries was some raw onion...it didn't make sense as there was grilled onion on the burger! The service here was great. She explained to my co-diner what she was getting and that it wasn't like the other restaurant versions. I would recommend going there anytime you're looking for something tex mex to eat.
