Pros: Food quality and value.
Cons: none

The Triangle is an Irish style pub and the menu feature's some traditional Irish meals. On this visit I arrived at approximately 7:00 pm on a Thursday night.

For an appetizer I tried their nachos. I should have avoided them because I have never been impressed by nachos served at any restaurant. For the main course I opted for pan fried haddock. I was very please with the large piece of haddock served with their own tartar sauce. The coleslaw was made with a sweetened vinegar dressing as opposed to the commonly used miracle whip dressing.

What can I say about the atmosphere... LOUD! The front room is very loud because of what seems to be an echoing of the walls. Personally I found it uncomfortably loud. However; I quickly found the back room, which was empty when we arrived, which provided a buffer from the noise out front. The rear escapes a bit of the typical pub feeling. This area was more relaxed and very pleasant.

The service was average. On arrival we were promptly served and our orders taken. They were quite busy and consequently the wait time for the meal was a bit long. Throughout the evening the waitress revisited our table to check in. This was a pleasant surprise considering the vast majority of the customers where in the front room.

The price range is very reasonable. On this visit the total bill for myself and my companion was under $30, drinks not included of course!
