Pros: Really fun atmosphere, great selection!
Cons: A tad pricey

Before having the kids we used to go all the time! Their bruschetta is the best I have ever had. DELICIOUS! Their main menu is great, full of selection (keeping in mind it is an italian based restaurant) Get the meals that offers the bread (which is really yummy!) and the salad as the entrees. There is also a bar section where I believe they still have a special half price entree menu on select nights. Should call to find out, but it is WELL worth the half price!! *NOTE you CAN bring kids to this section during the day, but no highchairs!*

Pros: Great food and service.
Cons: A bit over priced.

I was on a weekday right around 5:30 ish that a friend and I dropped in to Mario's. I was early so the waitress immediately seated me in view of the door so I could watch for my friend to show. That was thoughtful, I always hate being the person who is late and then having to walk all over the restaurant looking for my friends.

The waitress promptly came over to take our order. I ordered the chicken Amatriciana (I think). I forget exactly how it was spelled on the menu. Our waitress returned with our salads and the bread in a few short minutes. As always the Caesar salad at Mario's is great and so is the warm bread. Its nice to have them included with the means. As for the main dish, i was pleasantly surprised when it arrived. It was a very generous portion. I would definitely not be leaving hungry. Furthermore this particular pasta was delicious. It was a white sauce over noodles, chicken and veggies. They did not skimp on the veggies of the chicken which was nice. By the time we were done eating our meals there was no room left for desert. Our waitress was attentive during our visit. When we ran out of bread she asked it we wanted more... as if she needed to ask. However, after the second loaf we turned down the offer for a third!

The service at Mario's as you can likely tell from above was fantastic. Our waitress was friendly and outgoing and made us feel welcome. She was fast and efficient and very attentive. Its nice when a waitress pays attention to details (ex. needing a new loaf of bread).

On this occasion Mario's was pleasantly quite. They were only at about 75% capacity so seating was fast. I do find that they have a few too many tables around which makes it seem crowded even when they are not full. If you arrive and there is going to be a wait for a table they have a bar next to the entrance where you can order a drink while you wait. I do believe that they will server you with your meal at the bar if you wish.

As for the pricing I am somewhat reluctant to say it was well priced. For $14.95 I felt my meal was too pricy. Granted it was very good it was not $14.95 good. On the other hand you get the salad and bread to start and they keep the bread coming as you want more. So the added perks make the $14.95 seem reasonable. For the purpose of this review I will consider the meal to have been fair value.
