Pros: Inexpensive, homemade, wonderful!
Cons: Too far from home in the US :(

After eating in Sydney, we feared we were doomed to bad food. We happened upon All Aboard Restaurant while driving thru Cheticamp. We thought "what the heck, it can't be any worse than we have had", and after a deep breath, went inside and sat down. Our dining experience was, bar none, the absolute best! My husband had the seafood chowder, and made yummy sounds during the 10 seconds it took him to finish off the bowl. The bread was fresh and delicious, my lobster was wonderful and the desserts, oh my lord, the desserts! We couldn't decide on just one, so settled for only two - the Coconut Creme Pie and the Apple Pie. The apple pie was served warm with a bit of cheddar cheese tucked under the crust. The crust was a dessert in itself! It was light and flaky and obviously homemade. The coconut creme pie was astounding, as well. The creme tasted like it could only have been made in Heaven. As full and satisfied as we were after the meal, we could not help but gaze longingly at the other desserts - wishing we had room for just a tiny taste of the desserts we did not choose. My husband and I even discussed smuggling back some seafood chowder and desserts home with us. When asked about our trip after arriving home - the very first thing we talked about was All Aboard Restaurant. That dinner alone was worth the price of our plane tickets! Yes, it was that good. The restaurant is small by United States standards, but you could feel the love of cooking the minute you walked in this warm, cozy place. No one was rushed to finish their meal, the service was excellent and the prices were extremely reasonable. On our next trip, we are going directly to All Aboard from the airport. Thank you Linda and Sharon! From: Ray and Luann Atlanta, Ga
