I love Mexican, so this is right up my alley. I have no complaints other than price. As a Stay at Home Mom, it has to be (abnormally) cheap for me to shout woohoo over the price. Again, it IS possible to find local coupons.
They have a 'terrace' which is right along the wide walkway and close to the traffic. It's nice, noisy, butmy kids enjoyed it.
Again, GREAT FOOD!! Definitely go if you are thinking about it! Nice walk down Main Street aftwerwards. They also have daily specials. Sundays is great for their Deep Fried Ice Cream!!!

I love Montana's! It would be similar to (for those of our Southern neighbours) Bugagboo Creek I do believe. It is fun, noisy, kids can colour on the paper table cloth. Great drinks, great service! If it's your birthday BEWARE, that is all Im going to say! Absolutely go!!!

Chateau A Pape is an old home turned into a restaurant. It is situated right near the Tidal Bore Park and along the River walking path (which used to be a rail road). The spirit of the place is just beautiful, night time is completely romantic. The food is good. I have only been 2 times, I had no complaints of the food. I just didn't get the "I can't live without having this again" feeling. The service was exceptional. This is actually the house my grandfather grew up in, so we decided to have a small wedding reception here for close friends and family. When I went in to book it, they insisted on giving us a tour all around. It was just the icing on the cake to have my grandfather's presence there (since he had passed years before) Definitely try it if you don't mind paying a pretty penny for a great restaurant!

If you crave a huge burger with some great toppings, you must have a whopper (if it is fast food you are looking for). This place is under renovations and I am hoping the whole building is being renovated and not just the outside. There always seems to be somewhat of a disorganized manner about this (and the DIeppe) Burger King. That being said, you always get your food! They have had a sandwhich of the day, following up McDonald's sandwhich of the day. Certain sandwiches are cheaper on those given days. So the penny pincher stay at home mom that I am, Wednesdays are great for BK! ;)

When I don't want to cook a meal, fast food is always the first choice with 2 toddlers. Arby's is a great change to the McDonald's or Wendy's. Really great food. If you can nab a coupon from a coupon book, makes it taste even better 
|
