The temperature inside was comfortable. That's it.

Smitty's on Henderson is the worst restaurant I've been too. I never waste my time on reviewing restaurants online, but I had to say something.My grandfather wanted soup and a sandwich which was offered on the senior's dinner menu for $6.99. I decided to get the same thing, I wasn't very hungry. My brother ordered fish n chips, gravy on the fries. We all just got water, not too be cheap, but because it seemed like the healthiest choice on the menu.Never once got offered a refill on the waters even though we each sat on empties.We waited one full hour for our food to arrive. My brother got his fish n chips first, they forgot the gravy but charged for it.We all heard a lady yelling at the top of her lungs in the kitchen "I need those sandwiches right now!!!" we were sitting kind of far away from the kitchen and since my brother had his food and we were waiting for ours I knew she was yelling about our sandwiches. It was humiliating, considering we waited patiently and never once said anything.The soup was literally measured as one cup. So like a quarter of a can of Campbells soup. My grandpa made a comment that the spoon was bigger than the bowl. The picture showed a much bigger picture.We got half a sandwich each that was slopped together. Not toasted or anything special. It was literally just regular sandwich bread you can buy a loaf of for 80 cents. And we each only got half of one because that was the seniors menu.Inside the thin sandwich was a few chunks of tuna and one big piece of iceburg lettuce. This was seriously the worst I'd ever felt ripped off before because these meals with tax came to $7.99 each. $8.00 for what would cost me maybe 50 cents to make???Plus it took forever, no refills, and they looked at us like we were insane when we said they charged for the gravy but we got none. My brother wanted gravy on his fries, so what?? We weren't going to wait another hour so they could bring some gravy.By the way, we asked for the bill after we finished eating and sat and waited another 20 minutes after we were done for the waitress to check on us. Then it took her another 15 minutes (seriously) to bring the bill!!I timed everything because I had to bid on something on eBay, and I thought we'd go to a quick dinner and be back home within 2 hours. We live close. But no! It took 5 minutes driving there, 5 minutes home, and a total of 1 hour and 57 minutes inside the restaurant.Oh, did I mention when we first got there, nobody came to seat us immediately? In fact we stood there until another 2 families arrived behind us (stood there for about 7 minutes and were getting ready to just sit down ourselves) and finally the hostess came looking dumbfounded and thinking we all arrived together. We had to say we were there first which is humiliating if your shy like us.Overall, Smitty's on Henderson is a horrible, horrible overpriced restaurant. You definitely DON'T get the quality or service you pay for. Go to Applebees or anywhere else. I'd never go back here again EVER!!
