Pros: It's close to the mall and BK has some good tastin' food.
Cons: The lady with four kids...control your offspring lady!

Faced with a line and slow service at the Wendy's next door, we headed to BK. It's been a while since I've been in one. This one was pretty clean and not busy...it was 5pm it probably should have been busier. I ordered a King Deal - for Monday it was the King Supreme with Fries and drink. Overall, it was a good burger...BK does do burgers right! And the fries - YUM! Other than the regular riff-raff that you get at a fast food restaurant the atmosphere was comfortable and clean....Two people can eat for 11 bucks and in today's restaurant industry that's pretty good.

Pros: The tokinese soup
Cons: The cuts on the roof of my mouth from the imperial rolls

In for supper on a surprisingly busy Wednesday night. Upon our instructions, my party sat ourselves in the primo seats in the house...the ones by the window! There's nothing like vietnemese food and watching who ever sits outside Doc Dylans and Joe Mocha do whatever it is they do!

I ordered the combo A with an extra imperial roll. Those imperial rolls rule my taste buds with flavour. They were extremely hot...must've been fresh from the fryer. Unfortunately for my liking they were a little hard on the roof of my mouth. The combo A comes with tokinese soup(if you don't order anything else, order this) a chicken and beef skewer, a salad(?), an imperial roll(mentioned above) and white rice. Everything was very delicious but the service took a while. The waitress said that she wasn't yet used to the speed at which people eat in the fall compared to summer. In the summer, people eat more leisurely than in autumn. A meal for two costs about 40 bucks. It's a nice casual place to go and the best time to go is after 8pm cuz apparently it's not that busy then. Live long and eat well! MFC

Pros: Free chips while waiting for your order.
Cons: The food wasn't the hottest in the world.

A nice place for some tex mex grub in downtown Moncton. I had the Bubba Brisket burger. It rings in at 8.99 and come with a side of choice. I had fries. Fries were good. Nothin' special but good. The burger wasn't what I thought it was going to be...I pictured thinly sliced brisket but it was chunked and put on a bun. It tasted great. Nice amount of spice and flavour. However, on the plate as a side with the fries was some raw onion...it didn't make sense as there was grilled onion on the burger! The service here was great. She explained to my co-diner what she was getting and that it wasn't like the other restaurant versions. I would recommend going there anytime you're looking for something tex mex to eat.

Pros: The view is nice...either cars, joggers or the Greco.
Cons: Parking. Difficult to get onto Coverdale Road if you park out front.

On a Saturday afternoon, I ventured to Steve's 50's Diner to get some much anticipated grub. When we arrived the place was empty; which is a great thing for me at 4pm. The waiter promptly showed us to a booth which had a view of Coverdale road. After seating us he quickly brought us the menus. I decided on the fish and chips as my meal cuz there's nothing I like more than that!

The large size fish and chips consist of fries(or your choice of side), coleslaw and either peas, corn or carrots. Now, unfortunately as some of you may know from previous rants on the previous website, I disagree with coleslaw being served as an appetizer. It should, nay MUST be served with the meal. I hope that someday legislators will come to their senses and put this into law.

The plate consisted 8 or 9 golf ball sized pieces of fish and a disappointing amount scrawny fries. And the peas were obviously from a can...hmmm...maybe they borrowed some canned veggies from the Homestead. The fish was inconsistent. One piece was dry and the next one was moist. And the batter was harder than what I like. The price is normally $11.95 but on this day was $10.95. The service was very speedy considering the time of day. Just as we were leaving the supper rush was going on. Overall, I would say that the diner experince was average - the only thing missing was a chain-smoking waitress named Kitty.

Pros: Food at McDonalds just tastes good!
Cons: Location - small parking lot.

Got a McChicken sandwich combo in a hurry. Tasted awesome. And it remained hot until I got home. Just the right amount of sauce. The night I went, their debit machine was down and the staff DID NOT panic. It showed some real maturity. Great job, great food.
